The Customer is not the owner of the shipping and mailing address.
The Customer is allowed to ship to and or mail their goods, letters, catalogs, etc. to the address provided if their membership status is in good standing, as approved by WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING
Physical access to shipping and mailing address is allowed based on consultation with WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING only.
Prohibited are commodities such as:
All contraband as outlined by Jamaica customs website, Items deemed to be unlawful, cash, jewellery, works of art, firearms and ammunition, explosive and flammable items.
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING does NOT provide a facility for customers to access shopping online with our Credit card and Amazon Prime account.
We are not involved in trading of goods and therefore acts only as a facilitator. WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is therefore not responsible for any loss as a result of incorrect purchases, items that don’t perform as stated in the online description or any variation from their stated perform by the seller online.
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is not liable for any loss and or damage to customer’s goods mails or any shipment before entering WORLD TO YAAD network.
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is not liable for any loss and or damage to customer’s goods that are not carefully and properly packaged to meet AIR shipping requirements and best practices when preparing your shipment to withstand the transit cycle.
Proper packaging is the sole responsibility of the shipper/merchant. In no event will WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING be responsible to ensure that items are correctly or safely packaged and will not be responsible for any damage to fragile or breakable items. All claims of this nature need to be resolved between you and the seller of the items. WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING will not mediate or otherwise participate in any disputes between you and the seller.
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING will only accept liability as set out in below:
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is not responsible or is in anyway liable for losses of cash, items purchased via the internet which includes items being delivered to the wrong address or is stolen before it enters our facility.
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is not liable for delayed mail and package delivery to WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING facility.
If WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING under any circumstance is found to be liable for consequential loss. Maximum settlement for uninsured shipment is US$50.00
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING’S Claim and Settlement:
It is agreed that the total liability of WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING shall be limited, in any event, to the sum of US$100.00 or less base on the value of the goods. Additionally, WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING provides insurance coverage not exceeding US$100.00. Insurance for a higher amount can be arranged by the customer through a third party. The customer must contact our office before order is placed.
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING requires you to contact US before shipping any shipment with value of US$500.00 or over. Any loss and damage related to WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING must be reported to the company within 24 hours.
The Customer is required to inspect his/her shipment when it is received for damage and or missing content. If content are found to be damage or missing, the matter must be reported immediately, failing to do so could adversely affect claim settlement. For approved settlements within our terms replacements items must be of equal value. As a business to consumer service, all items transported through the Service will require a commercial invoice in order to clear customs, and items cannot be declared as gifts. Invoice MUST be presented showing item’s description, date of purchase and original purchase price.
Customs and Other Clearance Charges
Authority to Act as User’s Acceptance & Customs Clearance Agent
The Service requires that the Company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and agents accept, transport, import, and (when applicable) deliver User’s packages and mail shipments. By accepting electronically (for example, by clicking “I Agree”), using this Website, or using the Service (for example, by sending a package or mail to the provided US address), you authorize the Company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and agents to act as User’s agent for the purpose of acceptance, transportation (whether by own equipment, or by a third party), importation (“Customs Clearance”) and delivery of all packages and mail shipments sent to the provided global forwarding address. Moreover, User acknowledges and authorizes that the Company may make declarations based on the information provided by the User or found within the package or mail shipment and can accept valuations on the User’s behalf (with or without User’s knowledge) if such required information is not available or forthcoming.
The Customer agrees to reimburse WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING for fees and taxes paid on the customers behalf:
1. Customs Duties and Taxes both local and foreign.
2. Associated clearance charges and fees
3. Unspecified charges and cost related to customer’s shipment.
You agree and acknowledge that WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING will receive no information or have any responsibility with respect to the content of any packages that you transport through the Service. Furthermore, you will be liable to WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING for any damages that WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING has suffered as a result of your failure to comply with any of the applicable laws and/or shipping restrictions, damages which may include legal fees, fines, or any other loss suffered by WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING.
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING reserves the right to refuse, withhold, turn over or destroy any items that are in contravention of any local laws or shipping restrictions, national regulations or are otherwise potentially dangerous or prohibited by law. WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is not responsible for any packages which are lost, destroyed, or confiscated by government authorities in contravention of the above.
You understand and acknowledge that any items transported into Jamaica through the Service may be subject to inspections by the Jamaica Customs for compliance with local laws and duties. WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is not responsible for any damage to the items, liabilities, penalties or additional charges which may be incurred as a result of these inspections.
As a business to consumer service, all items transported through the Service will require a commercial invoice in order to clear customs, and items cannot be declared as gifts.
Payment for Service
The customer agrees to pay WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING charges and fees for the clearance and handling of his/her shipment and any other service fee related to customer transaction(s)
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is not responsible for items that are not collected within 30 days. These items may be auctioned to the public to recover cost or discarded, destroyed or otherwise disposed of by WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING’s discretion.
Shipping rates are subjected to change without notice.
It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of any information that you provide to WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING and any sellers or suppliers. WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is in no way responsible for any lost or mis-delivered packages as a result of error in the names, addresses, or other identification information provided by you to WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING or to the seller.
In particular, errors or failure to provide your unique WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING identification number to the seller may result in your package being lost in WORLD TO YAAD’s warehouse or otherwise delayed, and WORLD TO YAAD will not be responsible for any damages that you may suffer as a result. Unclaimed items which are unidentifiable or otherwise undeliverable will be stored at a WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING warehouse for up to 30 days, after which it will be disposed of without any compensation to you. If WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING is required to locate a package as a result of your error, you may be required to pay an additional fee for this service, regardless of whether the package is ultimately found.
Refund, Return and Exchange Policy
All services rendered by the Company are provided on a non-refundable basis. This includes but is not limited to, parcels received, warehouse storage, freight forwarding and delivery.
Customer agrees to pay all shipping/freight fees and other charges incurred for services rendered.
1. We are not responsible for any errors by the merchants in fulfillment of orders or otherwise. User will have to make arrangements with the merchants for any returns, refunds or exchanges of items directly in accordance with the merchant’s terms and policies.
2. We do not facilitate any exchanges. We will facilitate the return delivery of items(s) ordered from the merchant while the goods are still at the User’s U.S. Delivery Address. Applicable return charges apply. Return labels must be provided or return charges must be paid before we can return the goods to the merchant.
Delivery Policy
1. General Information
We receive shipments three times per week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Packages delivered to the warehouse in the USA between Mondays and Wednesdays by 12:00pm will be cleared in Jamaica on a Friday for delivery (Sat-Mon). Packages delivered between Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:00pm will be cleared in Jamaica on a Monday for delivery (Tues – Thurs) with the exception of natural disasters, flight delays and holidays. Packages are processed within 24-48 hours. This is subject to change based on the service operations of our 3rd party airline carriers.
2. Delivery Time
Priority Deliveries are done within 1 – 2 business days
Express Deliveries are done within 1 business day once paid on or before 9:00 am. Request must be made by 9:00am.
Unless there are exceptional circumstances and holidays, we make every effort to fulfill your order within the time period selected and our regular delivery schedules. Please note delivery times are estimates and aren’t guaranteed, we will not be able to reimburse express delivery costs for packages that miss the estimated delivery date. We are not liable for any damages or loss caused by delays.
3. Delivery Location
We offer delivery in Kingston. Delivery is to (1) location per shipment/account and cannot be split. Please note we do NOT turn off into volatile areas and narrow lanes for safety precaution and within city limits. If you live in a remote area please feel free to contact us to confirm if deliveries are done in your area.
If no one is at the address and you’re not available via phone or present when delivery is attempted. We will send a whatsapp to the contact # or an email to the email on file. We’ll make (1) one delivery attempt. If the delivery attempt is unsuccessful:
1. Your package will be sent back to the local warehouse for pick up. Storage fees of $300 per day will apply up to 30 days.
2. Delivery can be rescheduled at a time and date convenient to you at a cost.
3. Re-routing or Change of address fees apply.
To avoid disturbing you and your neighbours, the driver will NOT knock on doors or blow horns but will contact you directly for delivery only between the hours of 10:00am & 6:00pm. An out for delivery email notification will be sent on the day and the driver will contact you 10 – 15 mins before arriving. Please be dressed and ready outside to receive your package as the driver will leave within 5 minutes after arriving.
4. Delivery Address/Location Change
Cut off time for a delivery address change is Friday and Monday at 5:00pm. Please note that we will NOT be able to facilitate any changes on the morning of or day of delivery as your package will have to be rerouted.
5. Express Delivery
Express delivery is only available to specific areas at a cost of $1000. Payment MUST be made by 9:00am to guarantee same day delivery. Any express delivery request must be sent via email Monday and Friday by 9:00am. Payments made after 9:00am will be scheduled for the following business day.
6. Customer Service
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING Customer Service handles all inquiries for deliveries (NOT DRIVERS). You can contact us via email info@worldtoyaad.com or log into your account and create a ticket. You can contact us if you would like to hold or reschedule delivery or with any other questions you may have.
7. Packages First In First Out Customers who have packages for more than two flight days, upon pickup will have to collect the first package that arrived on their account or ALL packages on their account.
Changes to Terms of Use
WORLD TO YAAD SHIPPING reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions in these Terms of Use or any policy or guideline of the Site and Service, at any time and in its sole discretion.
Any changes or modifications to these Terms of Use will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site, and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued use of this Site following the posting of any changes or modifications constitutes your acceptance of such changes or modifications. Therefore, you should frequently review these Terms of Use and applicable policies to understand the terms and conditions that apply to your use of the Site.
